Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Solitary thyroid nodule Age between 20 and 50 years Good overall health (no chronic debilitating diseases) Any gender

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age under 20 years or over 50 years Chronic debilitating diseases (hepatic cell failure, chronic kidney failure) Multinodular goiter Preoperative vocal cord mobility impairment Preoperative malignancy identification Enlarged cervical lymph nodes on ultrasonography or distal metastasis Bilateral or diffuse thyroid disease History of radiotherapy to the neck Hashimoto's thyroiditis
