Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants were eligible for inclusion if they: Were practicing adult education teachers in Enugu State, Nigeria. Exhibited signs of dysfunctional career beliefs and burnout as identified through baseline assessment. Were willing to participate in the study and provide informed consent. Were available to attend the full duration of the 8-week REBT intervention programme. Had not previously participated in a similar psychological intervention targeting burnout or career beliefs within the study period.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Participants were excluded if they: Were not practicing adult education teachers in Enugu State, Nigeria. Did not exhibit significant levels of dysfunctional career beliefs or burnout at baseline assessment. Declined to provide informed consent or withdrew consent during the study. Were unable to commit to or complete the 8-week REBT intervention programme. Were concurrently participating in another psychological or behavioural intervention targeting burnout or career-related beliefs.
