Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Dental intern students at the Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University who are currently enrolled in a one-year compulsory dental internship program. They are actively engaged in clinical dental practice for a minimum of 20 hours per week involving direct patient care. They completed at least 3 months of the internship to allow for sufficient exposure to work-related physical stressors. Those who are willing to participate and provide written or electronic informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: those who have a history of chronic musculoskeletal disorders (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, scoliosis, or disc prolapse) or significant trauma/surgery to the spine or limbs prior to the start of the dental internship. those who have diagnosed systemic conditions that may manifest as joint or muscle pain, such as fibromyalgia or systemic lupus erythematosus. we excluded currently pregnant interns, as physiological changes and hormonal shifts (e.g., increased ligamentous laxity) can independently contribute to musculoskeletal discomfort. Employment in other physically demanding jobs or high-impact professional sports that could act as confounding variables for physical strain.
