Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ?In-school adolescents in public and private secondary schools in Nsukka Local Government Area. ?Students currently enrolled in Junior Secondary School two (JSS 2). ?Students present in school during the pre-test, intervention sessions, and post-test periods.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Adolescents who are not currently enrolled in a secondary school (out-of-school youths). Students in JSS 1, JSS 3, or Senior Secondary classes (SSS 1–3). Students who did not complete all stages of the study (pre-test, the full intervention, and post-test).

Week 1, Day 1 = pre-test for both control and experimental groups, Week 1, Day 1 = CSE intervention commence for only experimental groups, Week 5 and Week 6 = knowledge assimilation period, no intervention, Last Day of Week 6 = post-test for both groups.
