Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adolescents aged 12 to 17 years. Enrolled in one of the selected Junior High Schools in Savelugu Municipality. Willing to participate in the study. Provide written assent and whose parent or guardian provides written informed consent. Expected to remain in school throughout the intervention period. Available for both baseline and endline assessments

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known allergy or adverse reaction to eggs. Known chronic illness or metabolic disorder that may affect nutritional status or interfere with participation in the intervention. Currently taking nutritional supplements or medication likely to substantially affect iron or zinc status, unless clearly documented and considered during analysis. Any condition that makes blood collection unsafe or clinically inappropriate. Likely prolonged absenteeism or relocation during the study period, making adherence and follow-up difficult
