Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. acute isolated AC dislocation Rockwood types III and IV. 2.an AC dislocation within three weeks of the trauma.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.A history of shoulder pathology (including adhesive capsulitis, gleno-humeral arthritis, rotator cuff tears, and instability) 2. associated injuries, fractures, or dislocations 3. previous shoulder surgery
