Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age between 30-70 ASA IV patients Requiring fluid resuscitation due to septic shock, hemorrhagic shock, or other causes of acute circulatory failure

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • A history of ocular surgery or pre existing ophthalmic disease or intracranial pathology • previous upper midline abdominal surgery • Any condition or state that may hinder ultrasonographic examination • Mechanically ventilated patients

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome was the correlation between IVC derived fluid responsiveness and concurrent changes in ONSD, with the aim of determining whether ONSD may serve as a reliable alternative assessment tool.
