Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals who attended the medical department of the hospitals Individuals who are between the ages of 30 and 60 Individuals who lived in Ghana for the past ten years Individuals who had a definite clinical and/or radiological diagnosis of cardiovascular disease by medical personnel as having hypertension, dyslipidemia or stroke.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The study excluded individuals who attended the hospitals but had ambiguous diagnoses, Individuals unable to stand or walk without support Individuals under 18 years of age Individuals who did not attend the hospital used as study site.

changes in waist circumference, weight, blood pressure and lipid profile

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcome measures included changes in blood pressure, lipid profile, D-dimer, CRP, kidney and liver function test and NT-proBNP.
