Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult patients aged 18 years or older Patients scheduled for elective laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair Patients with ASA physical status I–III according to the American Society of Anesthesiologists Patients with confirmed diagnosis of hiatal hernia by upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and contrast radiologic assessment (barium swallow) Patients suitable for primary posterior cruroplasty without mesh reinforcement Patients providing written informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Emergency surgery Previous hiatal surgery Patients requiring mesh reinforcement for hiatal repair Concomitant bariatric procedures Chronic opioid use Known allergy to local anesthetics Severe hepatic impairment Pregnancy Conversion to open surgery Patients who declined to participate
