Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Postpartum women who give birth to a spontaneous vaginal delivery Delivery of full-matured infants with birth weight = 2,500g Willing to practice exclusive breastfeeding and provide informed consent to participate

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Postpartum women will be excluded who have medical conditions contraindicating breastfeeding, such as HIV positive not on ART, thyroid disorders, sickle cell anaemia and maternal depression Delivery of twins Neonates who have congenital abnormalities or conditions requiring prolonged NICU admission.
