Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children within the age group of 6-12 years and belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) category I- Normal healthy child patients with a history of previous dental treatment. 2. Participants with a Modified Dental Anxiety Scale (MDAS) score of = 11 will be considered anxious and eligible for inclusion. 3. Children requiring prophylactic dental treatment (scaling and polishing).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with Special Health Care Needs or those with medical conditions such as epilepsy that may be triggered by head mounted devices. 2. Children who have a history of childhood anxiety disorders with a SCARED questionnaire score = 25 3. Children whose parents refuse to give a written informed consent or children above 8 years who refuse to give a written assent
