Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with clinical otosclerosis confirmed by preoperative clinical and audiological workup (audiogram and tympanogram) Both sex Air-bone gap = 30 dB
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with any other cause of conductive hearing loss Air-bone gap less than 30 dB Sensorineural hearing loss Balance disorders (eg. Ménière's disease) Unfit for general anesthesia Only or better-hearing ear Poor speech discrimination score (less than 60%) Pregnancy Revision stapedotomy
