Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age: 18 years or older. Symptom Duration: Presence of mechanical shoulder pain persisting for more than 6 weeks. Clinical Diagnosis: Confirmed clinical diagnosis of subacromial impingement syndrome (SAPS). Consent: Subject must have provided signed informed consent to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Specific Shoulder Pathologies: Massive rotator cuff tears. Advanced glenohumeral osteoarthritis. Other specific shoulder disorders (e.g., calcific tendonitis or adhesive capsulitis that do not meet the SAPS profile). General Medical Contraindications: Conditions contraindicating acupuncture (e.g., severe bleeding disorders or acute local/systemic infections). Pregnancy. Administrative/Patient Factors: Refusal to participate or provide signed informed consent.
