Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Aged from 2 months to 14 years of age. . • Patients experiencing acute hypotensive episodes whether brief or during or after medical or surgical procedures or pre-arrest situations.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Patients who have cardiac diseases (congenital or acquired). • Patients who have malignancies and are receiving chemotherapy. • Post cardiac arrest patients.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
•Improvement of acute hypotension improvement of mean arterial blood pressure.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
• The risk of arrhythmia between the two groups was assessed. • The need of vasopressors through the day of the intervention.
