Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant women between ages 18-40 years 2. Mild to moderate vaginal bleeding 3. Intrauterine gestation confirmed by pelvic ultrasound for appropriate gestational age 4. Gestational age = 20 weeks 5. Absence of fever or known medical conditions

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of recurrent miscarriage 2. Prior use of progestogen in current pregnancy 3. History of luteal phase support following assisted reproduction 4. Presence of fever or known medical conditions

The proportion of participants with pregnancy continuation to 28 completed weeks’ gestation and beyond.
