Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Recent central venous catheter placement within 30 days prior or within 24 hour of ICU admission. - Length of hospital stay greater than or equal 3 days prior to ICU admission. - History of DVT (VTE) or pulmonary embolism in the past. - Immobility. - Obesity. - Family history of coagulopathy. - Nephrotic syndrome. - Infection including bacteremia sepsis infections of the gastrointestinal tract meningitis pneumonia and upper respiratory tract infections.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • Recent cardiac surgery. • Patients with bleeding disorders congenital or acquired. • Patients known to have thrombophilic diseases. • Contraindications to Enoxaparin Use in Critically Ill Pediatric Patients.
