Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1 Inclusion Criteria a. Diabetic patients accessing care in the selected healthcare facilities. b. Diabetic Patient's age between 18– 65yrs both males and females. c. Patients with controlled blood sugar value for up to 200 mg/dl. d. Patients with diabetic foot ulcer that falls on Wagner grade I and I Vof 2 to 5 cms size. e. Patients who were cooperative and willing to give consent to participate in the study. f. Patinet with diabetics foot ulcer admitted for wound management in surgical/medical ward in any of the hospital g. Patient attending wound clinics in any of the hospital
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: a. Multiple medical co-morbidity such as septicemia, amputated legs, serious illness, complicated diseases, such as end-stage renal failure, cancer and hepatic coma b. Immunocompromised patients c. Patients with osteomyelitis or skin malignancy d. A history of allergy to honey or stingless bee product
