Inclusion criteria: Pregnant women who are to have elective or emergency caesarean section

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Antepartum haemorrhage History of bleeding disorder or use of anticoagulant therapy Blood transfusion prior to caesarean section Women on calcium channel blockers History of renal disease
