Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients presenting to the emergency departments of the 10 participating primary hospitals during the study period Presentation during the study period (October 2020–May 2022) Patients of all ages and sexes For process outcome analysis: patients diagnosed with a predefined sentinel condition or requiring an emergency intervention

Seven predefined emergency care process indicators reflecting early identification and stabilization of acutely ill patients, including appropriate resuscitation bay placement, documentation of mental status using AVPU, timely oxygen administration, airway management, intravenous fluid or blood transfusion, glucose administration, and timely triage.	—
