Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Healthy children aged between 9 and 13 years. - In order to qualify for a Class I restoration, children must have at least one carious vital first permanent molar. - Children with a behavior rating of 3 or 4 on the Frankl scale: • Frankl 3: The youngster is cooperative yet reticent or bashful in some ways. • Frankl 4: The youngster is fully compliant and finds the experience enjoyable). - A caries score of less than five on the ICDAS (distinct cavity with visible dentin) is desirable . - Additionally, all involved teeth must be healthy, reparable, and free of signs like pulsation, edema, infection, fistulae, abscesses, or discomfort when touched. - The presence of radiolucency limited to the dentine's outer half, a normal Lamina Dura, and periodontal space will be required for radiographic inclusion.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Presence of systemic diseases. - Teeth with discoloration, developmental defects, or pathological mobility. - Teeth with pulp exposure or indication for endodontic treatment or extraction.
