Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • Nurses and doctors who provide direct patient care in any of the emergency units • Nurses and doctors who have been practising for not less than six months within the emergency units and who had prior knowledge of the existing manual method of reporting AEs. • Nurses and doctors who were willing to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • Nurses and doctors directly involved in patient care in any of the emergency units who do not provide informed consent for participation. • Nurses and doctors with at least six months of practice experience in the unit, but were unavailable at the time of data collection, either as a result of annual, maternity or study leave. • Nurses and doctors who were unwilling to participate in the study.
