Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: patients scheduled for elective Lumbar Discectomy (single level) under general anesthesia of American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) physical status I-II, aged 21 to 50 years, of both genders, their body mass index (BMI) < 35 kg/m2).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: have psychiatric, neurological or neuromuscular disorders, contraindications to regional anesthesia as bleeding disorders or local infection, history of hypersensitivity to drugs used in the study, regular use or abuse of narcotics, repeated surgery or emergency surgery.
