Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients aged 1 month to 14 years 2) Gender : both sexes will be included 3)Admission to the PICU with severe hypertriglyceridemia (> 1000 mg/dl) or HTG-induced pancreatitis 4)Informed consent obtained
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with the following conditions: 1- Diabetic ketoacidosis 2- Obesity 3- Hypothyroidism 4- Renal and hepatic disorders.
