Modified obstetric bed upright birth position will shorten the second stage labor.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1-Term pregnancy (37- 40) weeks of gestation. 2-Viable single tone pregnancy. 3-Vertex presentation with occiput anterior position. 4-In the active stage of labour. 5- Women can read Arabic language.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1-Multiple gestation 2-Mal presentation 3-Mal position 4-Preterm labour 5-Fetal growth restriction 6-Fetal macrosomia (EFBW more than 4 kg) 7-Fetal distress 8-Medical illness (HIN, DM, SLE, Cardiac, ect……) 9-Antepartum hemorrhage 10-Any Labour with analgesia or anesthesia 11-Pervious uterine surgery as myomectomy. 12-Women who refusing to participate in the study.
