Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult patients (=18 years) Both sexes Diagnosed with septic shock according to Sepsis-3 criteria Admitted to the ICU and receiving initial fluid resuscitation
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pregnant females Patients in whom capillary refill time cannot be reliably assessed (e.g., Raynaud’s syndrome, severe hypothermia) Patients with active bleeding Patients with liver cirrhosis Patients with acute severe respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) Patients requiring surgical intervention within the first 6 hours of admission
