Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Qualitative formative research 1.1. Healthcare system stakeholders - Being a practicing pharmacist in a private pharmacy in Benin - Institutional actor involved in the regulation or implementation of health policies - Be aged 18 or over 1.2. Pharmacy care users - Be a customer or caregiver who has recently visited a pharmacy for a feverish episode, with or without antimalarial treatment - Be aged 18 years or older and have provided informed consent - Provided consent to have the interview recorded for audio - Have difficulty understanding or expressing themselves, making informed participation impossible, or a lack of consistency in reasoning 2. Quantitative formative research (Pharmacy care users ) - Be aged 18 years or older - Have purchased a treatment (for yourself) for malaria at a pharmacy selected to be included in the study - Have given your informed consent to participate for participants aged 18 years or older - Have the parent/guardian informed consent for participants under 18 years old OR - Had someone else identified by the pharmacy study team purchase malaria treatment for you at a pharmacy - Are 18 years of age or older and have given your informed consent to participate - or - are under 18 years of age and your parent/guardian has given their informed consent - Have difficulty understanding or expressing yourself that makes informed participation impossible, or a lack of consistency in reasoning 3. Acceptability and feasibility study of prototype models (Pharmacy providers) - Be a pharmacist/provider in a pharmacy participating in the pilot project - Have given informed consent to participate 4. Quantitative exit survey (Pharmacy care users) - Have purchased a treatment (for yourself) for malaria at a pharmacy selected to be included in the study - Be aged 18 or over - Have given informed consent to participate OR - Be under 18 years of age - the parent/guardian has given informed consent - Has difficulty understand

Exclusion criteria: 1. Qualitative formative research 1.1. Healthcare system stakeholders - Have not provided informed consent 1.2. Pharmacy care users - Have not provided informed consent 2. Quantitative formative research (Pharmacy care users ) - Purchase of a non-antimalarial treatment - Did not provide informed consent OR - Purchase of a non-antimalarial treatment - Did not provide informed consent - The third party for whom the antimalarial is being purchased lives more than 10 km from the pharmacy 3. Acceptability and feasibility study of prototype models (Pharmacy providers) - Has not provided informed consent 4. Quantitative exit survey (Pharmacy care users) - Did not provide informed consent
