Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy patients according to the American Society of Anaesthesiology Classification (ASA I and II). Growing children with skeletal Class II relationship (ANB > 4°). Mandibular retrognathia (SNB < 78°). Cooperative child and compliant parents.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: o Severe chronic conditions such as asthma and allergy, neuropsychiatric disorders, and craniofacial syndromes. Previous history of orthodontic treatment. Posterior crossbites or severe maxillary transverse deficiency. Severe facial asymmetry determined by clinical or radiographical examination. Systemic diseases that may affect the orthodontic treatment results.
