Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Breast lesions detected on screening or diagnostic mammography

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1- Lesions is not visible on mammography (purely clinical or ultrasound detected). 2- Inadequate imaging or incomplete records. 3- Pregnant patients. 4- Known patients of breast malignancy under treatment

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
the primary outcome measure is diagnostic accuracy of ultrasound in breast lesion characterization.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Calculate sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value of ultrasound. Concordance between imaging modalities and histopathology (if biopsy done).
