Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged 0 to 36 months Living in the catchment area for Mubende Regional Referral Hospital Healthy young child with no medical complications High risk diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy Parents must have been counselled about the high-risk diagnosis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with uncontrolled seizures

Asymmetric cerebral Palsy- only for children with asymmetric cerebral palsy- measures caregiver perception of upper limb function. Tool- Infant Motor Activity Log-IMAL;Change in gross motor function measure. Tool- Gross Motor Function Measure 66;Participation and Environment measure- young childrens participation in the home, daycar/preschool and community activities. Qualities of the environment in which these activities take place.;Parenting self-efficacy- parents sense of emotion and affection, play and enjoyment, empathy and understanding control, discipline and setting boundaries, pressure, self-acceptance, learning and knowledge - Tool - Tool to measure parenting self-efficacy-TOPSE;Child outcome measure - Assessment for high risk of cerebral Palsy. Tool- The Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examination.;Impaired motor function - an observation and parent reported measure on the childs developmental domains-cognitive, communication, social-emotional and physical development. Tool - DAYC2-Full
