Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients scheduled for unilateral open inguinal hernia under spinal anesthesia. American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status (ASA) grades I, II. Age 18 to 65 years old.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal. History of previous groin surgery Neuromuscular diseases. Hematological diseases, bleeding or coagulation abnormality. Local skin infection and sepsis at site of the block. Known allergy to the study drugs. Unstable cardiovascular condition. history of neuropathic pain Patients on opioid analgesics or opioid abuse. Obese patients (BMI >35) Patient with abnormal renal functions
