Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Age = 18 years. - Both sexes with recent traumatic. - Isolated unstable intertrochanteric (IT) fractures (Evans type 1c, 1d, 1e, or 2).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Neurological deficit. - Uncontrolled comorbidities. - Open fractures. - Proximal femoral deformity. - Pathological fractures. - Previous ipsilateral femoral surgery.
