Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Adult patients (=18 years old) diagnosed with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Patients who are initiating hemodialysis for the first time

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with previously diagnosed dementia, major psychiatric disorders, or neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, epilepsy). Patients with severe visual or hearing impairments that may interfere with psychological or cognitive testing. Patients with concurrent terminal illnesses (e.g., advanced cancer).
