Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Preoperative colonoscopy and Computed Tomography (CT) scan indicating that the tumor is in the ileocecal region, ascending colon, or hepatic flexure, with pathology confirming malignancy (2) No distant metastasis (3) American Society of Anesthesiologists classification (ASA) I, II, III (4) Patients signing informed consent (5) Patients allocating to the NOSES group without reproductive needs.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Women who will be excluded from the transvaginal removal route are those who have a history of endometriosis or pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), refuse to participate, has a narrow vagina, are virgins, have extensive pelvic adhesions, couldn’t access the cul de sac, or have tumors > 6 cm. Other exclusion criteria are: (1) Emergency surgery for intestinal obstruction, bleeding or perforation (2) Concurrent primary malignancies or distant metastasis from other organs (3) Incomplete data or missing follow-up data (4) Patients with a prophylactic stoma or other stoma causes (4) Preoperative radiotherapy (5) Combined organ resection (6) Body Mass Index (BMI) >35 kg/m2.
