Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1-Age 19-65 years 2-ASA physical status I or II 3-Scheduled for elective ESS 4-Provided written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1-Allergy to lidocaine or volatile anesthetics 2-Cardiopulmonary disease , Recent upper respiratory infection 3-Hypertensive patients 4-Pregnancy or lactation 5Patients refused to participate in the studies
