Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults (=18 years) diagnosed possessing histopathological confirmed oral carcinoma, and will undergoing active treatment (surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or multimodal therapy). and demonstrating proficiency in reading and writing English or Arabic. They were also required to have a smartphone with the WhatsApp application installed

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants were excluded if they reported a history of mental illness or had previously undergone psychological treatment for any mental health condition.
