Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • Age: 19 to 65 years. • ASA physical status I or II • Scheduled for elective craniotomy requiring skull pinning (brain tumors (e.g., meningioma, glioma), Aneurysm clipping, and Elective craniotomy for chronic subdural or extradural hematomas). • Hemodynamically stable preoperatively (MAP 65–100 mmHg, HR 60–100 bpm)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • Surgeries not involving skull pinning • ASA III or higher • Known allergy or contraindication to dexmedetomidine or magnesium sulfate • Severe cardiac, renal, or hepatic dysfunction • Use of beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, or other agents affecting autonomic tone • Pregnancy or lactation • History of brady arrhythmia, heart block, or seizure disorder
