Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| the association between low PPI values within the first 24 hours after extubation and the incidence of reintubation within 72 hours | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Correlation between PPI values and markers of tissue perfusion (e.g., lactate levels, ScvO2 if available).;Association between PPI and ICU length of stay; cutoff values of PPI predictive of reintubation. | — |
