Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients aged 18 years and above.? Clinical and radiologic diagnosis of transsphincteric perianal fistula based on Parks classification, confirmed by MRI.? Suitable for elective surgery at Alexandria Main University Hospital.? Ability to provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with Crohn’s disease.? Patients with tuberculosis-related fistulae.? Patients with malignancy.? Patients with previous fistula surgery.? Patients unable to provide informed consent.?
