Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult cases (18-45 years) of both sexes , indicated for ipsilateral internal orbital reconstruction, where the normal side of the same patient used as a control. Either isolated orbital trauma or orbital involvement with facial trauma or craniofacial trauma. fracture of the orbital floor and/or medial wall.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Patients with severe underlying systemic disease (American Society of Anesthesiologists III and IV) should be excluded from this study. ? Patients with bilateral orbit fractures. ? Fracture of the orbital roof. ? Injury to the globe that restricts surgical reconstruction (e.g., retinal detachment, globe rupture, or traumatic optic neuropathy).

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
orbital volume, corneal projection, orbital implants contour analysis, ocular muscle motility, diplopia, and visual acuity.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
challenges and ease of manipulating both implants during the insertion process for each used orbital implant design during surgical orbital reconstruction
