Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a) Ages: > 16 years old b) Sex: Both sexes will be included c) Type of fractures: All types of unstable closed fractures involving the shaft of metacarpal bones.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a) Old fractures (? 2 weeks) b) Stable fractures indicated for conservative treatment. c) Associated soft tissue injuries or bone loss. d) Pathological fractures.
