Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Full-time employment in either manual or office work for =1 year • Aged 20–55 years • Consent to participate • Able to understand and complete the questionnaire

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Pre-existing musculoskeletal disorders not related to occupational exposure • Acute injuries or recent surgeries • Chronic neurological or systemic conditions affecting movement • Pregnant individuals

Outcome: Prevalence and severity of orthopedic disorders among office workers versus manual workers, as measured by the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire, focusing on pain and discomfort in the neck, shoulders, lower back, upper limbs, and knees. Outcome Measures: • Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire to standardize symptom reporting across different body regions for consistent comparison between office and manual workers. • Severity and frequency of pain or discomfort reported by participants in the neck, shoulders, lower back, upper limbs, and knees body regions.

Outcome: Evaluation of workplace ergonomics and physical demand levels to assess their impact on orthopedic health and identify ergonomic or behavioral risk factors associated with orthopedic complaints. Outcome Measures: • Evaluation of workplace ergonomics using an observation checklist, adapted from prior ergonomic assessment tools, and assessment of ergonomic risk factors such as workstation setup, chair design, screen height, and posture. • Measurement of physical demand levels (e.g., sedentary vs. physically demanding tasks) to assess their impact on orthopedic health. • Identification of ergonomic or behavioral risk factors such as prolonged sitting, heavy lifting, and repetitive motions associated with increased orthopedic complaints.
