Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1- Pregnant women in any trimester. 2- Residents of Sohag governorate. 3- Consent to participate.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1- Severe illness preventing participation. 2- Non-Egyptian residents. 3- Females that reject to participate in the study.

| Health literacy in pregnant females in sohag will be measured using a Validated questionnaire (Health literacy scale) containing 25 questions, each has a likert scale (1- it's impossible, 2- I have a lot of difficulty, 3- I have some difficulty, 4- I have some difficulty, 5- I have no difficulty at all). The questionnaire has 4 sections, the first: Access to information (eg. Can you find information about diseases?), the second: UNDERSTANDING INFORMATION (eg.Can you understand the explanatory information found on medicine packaging), the third: VALUATION / EVALUATION (eg. Can you discuss medical information with your doctor or pharmacist?), the fourth: APPLICATION / USAGE (eg. Can you follow the recommendations given by doctors, nurses, or pharmacists?) | — |
