Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with acute pancreatitis (AP) treated at Assiut University Hospital (Al Rhaghe Hospital). Age = 18 years. Patients from the period January 2019 to March 2025 (retrospective data). Patients admitted within the prospective one-year study period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of chronic kidney disease. Pregnant women. History of neoplasm (any type of cancer). Presence of acute infection at admission. History of hematological diseases.
