Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: •Age =18 years. •Both sexes. •American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status II–III. •Body mass index (BMI) 18–30 kg/m². •Elective cardiac surgery via sternotomy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: •Coagulopathy. •Allergy to local anesthetics. •Chronic opioid use. •Infection at puncture site. •Severe cardiac, hepatic or renal disease. •Cognitive impairment or language barrier.
