Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 19 - 44years 2. Scheduled for elective cesarean section 3. ASA physical status II 4. Singleton non-complicated pregnancy. 5. body mass index (BMI) = 35 kg/m2.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1- Multiple pregnancies. 2- patient refusal. 3- Known fetal anomalies. 4- Pre-existing maternal hypertension or cardiovascular disorders. 5- Contraindications to spinal anesthesia. 6-History of allergy to local anesthetics
