Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male children between the ages of one and six American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I or II Scheduled for elective hypospadias repair surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known bleeding disorders or coagulopathy Congenital genital malformations other than hypospadias Known allergy or hypersensitivity to local anesthetics Local infection at the proposed injection site Sacrococcygeal abnormalities or spinal deformities • Children with cerebral palsy (CP) • Children with delayed developmental milestones • Previous surgery at the proposed block site
