Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Age from 15 to 60 years old. • Both sexes. • Patients with body mass index (BMI) over 35 or 30–35 kg/m2 with comorbidities. • Schedule for laparoscopic greater curvature plication after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Previous upper abdominal surgery. • Coagulopathies or ongoing anticoagulation therapy. • Active gastric ulcers or malignancy. • Inflammatory bowel disease. • Patients lost at follow-up or showed hesitancy in following postoperative instructions.
