Inclusion criteria: Singleton term pregnancy Medioloateral episiotomy following spontaneous vaginal delivery Consenting parturients

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Refusal to consent Twin delivery Epidural analgesia Previous history of perineal tear Postpartum haemorrhage Manual removal of placenta Preeclampsia/Eclampsia History of peptic ulcer or coagulopathy Chronic renal, hepatic, cardiac, or sickle cell disease Hypersensitivity to diclofenac
