Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All consenting adult patients scheduled for posterior spine surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Patients on anticoagulants who cannot safely discontinue the medications preoperatively. • Patients on antiplatelets. • Patients with documented PE or DVT at screening or in the past three months • Patients with any associated major illness such as renal disease, severe cardiac and seizures disorders • Patients with deranged Clotting profile • Patients with deranged platelet count • Patients with known hypersensitivity to TXA • Children less than 18 years • Pregnant women
