Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed as meningo encephalitis with fever , altered mental status & meningeal signs. Patients aged from 20 _ 60 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with prior history of other Central nervous system disease Patients with metabolic encephalopathy Patients with traumatic brain injury Other sepsis cause

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Trans cranial doppler measures cerebral blood flow velocity at different times. CSF S100b protein value correlation with severity of infection

MeasureTime frame
Length of stay. Mechanical ventilation days. Clinical disability & mortality
